To bring the feel of a coastal landscape into our client’s Jersey Shore home, we designed and fabricated this beautiful interior railing focal point. The custom iron seagrass design artfully suggests movement from a gentle sea breeze with blades that bend and sway in different directions. We laser cut each piece of grass, ground down the corners, and hand-hammered them to achieve the natural effect. Hand-forged and hammered cattails add character and realism to the rail, while a sculptured crane made of stamped iron sheets finished in burnished bronze spray enamel completes the scene. This project truly highlights our versatility and willingness to go that extra mile to craft railings that reflect every client’s unique preference.
