This multi-level South Jersey Shore home begged for stairs that would keep with the breezy feel of its interiors. Glass railings produce an unobstructed view of architectural elements and allow light to flow all throughout. This project incorporates a clean-looking custom shoe channel receiver where the glass is securely mounted. The stair treads are mounted to metal stringers, the key structural elements that support weight, adding open space between each step. Our client chose a white oak 5600 cap rail to coordinate with the floor and laminated oak treads. Combined with light interior paint, this staircase adds to the clean, spacious feel of the home.
