For this interior stairway, our customer chose upgraded 316 stainless-grade cables which resist avoid corrosion. We installed specialized fittings and ensured precise and proper spacing between cables—close enough to stop a 4-inch ball from passing through. A custom rectangular white oak 2” x 1.5” cap rail completes the look and coordinates with both the treads and floor. The result is railings that frame staircases and landings and provide a safety barrier all without visual obstructions.
